Michael Nasatka, Manager

Michael comes to Westwater with a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and a BA in Economics from Cornell University. Prior to Westwater, Michael spent two years as a business analyst in financial services at a Big 4 Consulting Firm. He is originally from Leominster, Massachusetts.

The project that stands out most during my time at Westwater is one involving the enhancement of Electronic Blue Sheet (EBS) Reporting for a major investment bank. Westwater was brought in to assess the trade flow across the firm and then capture and convert all execution data to the reporting format. As a business analyst, I led the data analysis and mapping component of the project, ensuring the integrity of all reportable elements. Throughout the role, I learned a great deal about options and equities data and have leveraged this knowledge in additional compliance work for the same client.

When I'm not working at Westwater I like to play basketball, research and manage my personal investments, play poker, and discover the city.
